Hidalgo - Tenangos or Otomi embroidery is a style of embroidery originated in the municipality of Tenango de Doria, in the state of Hidalgo, Mexico. The main characteristic of these textiles is the combination of colors, very vivid, and the representation of the flora and fauna of the region.

Chiapas - The state of Chiapas is one of the main producers of handicrafts in Mexico. From childhood, most indigenous girls learn to weave and embroider their clothes.

Oaxaca - the embroidery techniques of Oaxaca were inherited by their ancestors. There are more than 18 techniques now, but only 5 are used these days.

Each design has a different meaning where the creativity of each artisan is captured.

 

Peru

The textile industry in Peru is quite extensive. However, the terms alpaca and vicuña are recognized worldwide because different wool is obtained from these mammals, the baby alpaca being the finest and most precious. The most recognized products that are produced in Peru are ponchos, scarves, vests, jackets and bedspreads.
